Eligibilities

- Repromotion eligible - previously held a permanent (not time limited) competitive service position at the grade level of the position being announced
- Reassignment eligible - holds the same grade level as the position being announced
- Change to Lower Grade eligible - holds a higher grade than the position being announced
- Current grade and service status (SF-50 block 34 "position occupied" reflects "1" or "2" and block 24 "tenure" reflects "1" or "2".)
- Highest grade ever held on a permanent basis

Public Health Service (PHS) officer - Are you currently an active-duty Public Health Service (PHS) officer or in the process of commissioning to become an active-duty PHS officer (call to active duty-CAD)?
