Assessment 1
To qualify at the CN-60 level, you must have one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the CN-53 level in the Federal service. (For qualification purposes, the CN-53 level is broadly equivalent to the GS-13 level.) For this position, specialized experience is defined as experience:
-Reviewing and analyzing technical material to identify and synthesize key messages and convey information for spoken communication by leaders for general audiences; AND
-Drafting speeches, statements, talking points, or other material, such as news releases, to be used by agency or other organizational leaders in a public forum; AND
-Reviewing and assessing materials written by other leaders to understand that leader's voice and written style and producing written materials in that style for speeches and other public appearances by that leader.
