SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-15: To be minimally qualified for this position you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience serving in a leadership capacity in the area of tax controversy on major programs, leading organization-wide projects and/or initiatives, making critical decisions that impact an organization or division, and supporting and representing top executive leadership; Experience applying professional accounting principles and practices that relate to issues pertaining to general (strategic) management, public tax policy or public tax administration and to provide top management with analysis of major issues of strategic importance, to develop new approaches and to prepare policy options and action plans; and oral and written communication skills sufficient to develop, persuade and negotiate a wide range of technical and implementation issues. Extensive experience with quantitative and qualitative techniques to lead analyses of interdisciplinary issues. Experience as an expert tax advisor on U.S. multinational businesses and foreign business entities.
