  • Experience leading or supervising employees engaged in performing senior level journalism and editorial duties, which include developing strategies focused on content creation and distribution in markets where access to content is limited and challenging, and to ensure relevance to the interests of the target audience.
  • Experience managing, directing, developing and evaluating a professional staff responsible for broadcast, digital, and journalistic writing and editing.
  • Expert knowledge of U.S. policies on global issues, such as foreign relations, economic and national security, technology and business/trade policies, and other concerns, to produce programming tailored to the target audience.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining contact with representatives of the U.S. and international academic entities and business communities involved in China-related developments, which includes topics relevant to Chinese-speaking audiences.
  • Expertise in Chinese politics and the United States objectives and policy toward China, neighboring countries, the region, and the world.
