Conduct investigations of post-blast scenes, technical investigative guidance and expert advice in support of investigations involving criminal violations of explosives laws.

Responsible for the daily transportation and physical protection of property, such as: explosives, explosive evidence, and other hazardous materials.

Assists the Hazardous Materials Response Team as the explosives material expert.
18.
Assists in locating explosives, booby traps; and identify the presence of additional hazardous materials which may present a threat to agent, officer, or to public safety.

Serves as a training liaison for bomb squads, explosives-detecting canine units, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units, and professional associations.
20.
Develops and promulgates bomb threat awareness and safety programs for potentially affected personnel.
21.
Have knowledge of the health effects of Chemical and Biological agents and Radiation and Nuclear materials.
22.
Serves as a liaison with other law enforcement, public safety officers, fire service personnel and provides technical investigative assistance.
23.
May be required to testify as a witness and/or subject matter expert in criminal or civil court proceedings pursuant to investigations.
24.
Ability to develop and conduct technical courses, seminars, and meetings regarding training, techniques, and procedures (TTP's), in explosives technology.
