This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Are you willing to undergo pre-employment and recurring investigations to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance as required?

This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health & ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position. Are you willing to submit to a pre-employment physical and willing to maintain a level of physical fitness to obtain and maintain employment as required?

The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as the Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition. (False or fraudulent information provided by candidates is criminally punishable by fine or imprisonment per 18 U.S.C. Section 1001). Are you willing and able to obtain and maintain eligibility for this position based on the provisions of the Lautenberg Amendment?

This position has a requirement to lift up to 40 lbs. in the regular performance of duties. Are you willing and able to meet the lifting requirement?

This position is subject to a mobility or rotation agreement as a condition of employment. You will be required to relocate based on management needs for the duration of employment in this or successor positions. You will not be required to move to a different geographic location more than once every three years. Your preference, career objectives, and compelling personal needs may be considered, but are not binding on management. Future assignments will be to a position at the same permanent grade or higher grade dependent upon eligibility. Are you able and willing to accept a position that requires you to be mobile and relocate to assigned area world-wide to support the mission?

This is a Temporary position intended to last one year. This temporary position may be extended to a maximum of three years and may be terminated at any time during the duration of the appointment, depending upon the needs of management. Are you available for temporary employment?

This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour. You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent. This position requires the incumbent to meet the requirements of AMC-R 350-4, Training and Certification Program for personnel working in ammunition operations, within one year of appointment. This position is subject to the Physical Security of Arms Ammunition and Explosives - Personnel Screenings. As such, must complete DD Form 7708, Personnel Reliability Screening and Evaluation form initially and annually IAW AR 190-13. Use equipment such as oscilloscopes, frequency counters and meters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to repair and rebuild test systems.

Troubleshoot repair actions of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) by utilizing schematics and wiring diagrams.

Prepare justifications to defend rejections of equipment which does not meet specifications.

Record data, plot curves, and compute correction factors to assure precise calibration.
