Do you have one year of experience at the GS 12 grade level or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal Government, which includes: 1) Establishing and maintaining an integrated system of financial staff services; 2) Recommending, developing, and implementing budgetary/financial policies; 3) Providing advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization programs and activities; and 4) Experience in leading, supervising, motivating and counseling employees?

Analyzes the results of transactions upon the financial resources of the organization to ensure proper funds control

Develops accounting systems to account for appropriated funds in accordance with law and regulations

Manages the total accounting program, including supervision of subordinate accountants, accounting technicians, voucher examiners, payroll clerks, and other similar supporting personnel to implement and sustain internal control

Oversees day-to-day ledger maintenance for the classification and otherwise correct recording of financial transactions
12.
