Work directly with customers on a day to day basis to resolve technical issues successfully.
Make series and grade determinations.
Audit classification actions to ensure compliance with regulation, policy, and guidance.
Advise managers to ensure they understand the appropriate content of a position description.
Brief classification changes or updates to coworkers, management officials, and impacted employees.
Ensure that actions are legal, appropriate, and in conformance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
Provide solutions to management to resolve complex position management problems.
Conduct job analyses for various technical and non-technical positions.
Serve as an expert in reviewing, analyzing and advising management on the classification of new positions and changes in existing positions.
Prepare evaluation statements as appropriate, using Office of Personnel Management (OPM) published standards, policies, practices and guidelines.
