Applying federal and state laws and regulations relating to cultural resources such as the Federal Land Policy and Management Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, the Archaeological Resources and Protection Act, the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), etc., in order to provide technical advice and guidance and ensure activities meet regulatory and legal requirements.

Complying with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act specifically, when conducting all aspects of work that results in the successful compilation, submission, and finalization of project documentation to the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) including: site forms, inventory survey reports, site determinations of eligibility, GIS locational data for SHPO databases, and agency consultation letters.
