Assist patient(s) at the pharmacy window or by telephone.

Demonstrate courtesy and politeness to customers while on the job.

Provides independent patient medication counseling for medication dispensing.

Apply technical knowledge of drug and medication brand names and generic/chemical names when preparing and dispensing drugs.

Work with Pharmacist to address any questions or concerns the patient may have so the patient has comprehensive information.

Check pharmacy stock to determine if it is at required level, rotate properly to insure freshness, and stored correctly.

Comply with pharmaceutical requirements in properly packaging and labeling drugs.
14.
Ensure drug information (e.g., generic name, manufacturer's name, lot number, control number) is properly recorded in log books and on labels.
15.
Perform inventory management functions such as ordering, receiving and putting away stock.
