Eligibilities
1.
Are you a Department of Defense (DoD) Air Force Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) employee separated by a business-based action within the last year? If claiming yes, a copy of the AF Form 2545 or notice of separation due to business based action must be uploaded with your application to receive priority consideration.

Are you a Veteran? If claiming yes, a copy of the DD 214 (member 4 or service 2 copy) or equivalent must be uploaded with your application to receive priority consideration.
3.
Have you been involuntarily separated from the Armed Services with an honorable or general under honorable conditions discharge within the last year? If claiming yes, a copy of your transition assistance identification card must be uploaded with your application to receive preference.
Conditions of Employment
1.
Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment. Are you willing to submit the proper documentation to have a background investigation completed?

This position is subject to the Air Force Mobility Agreement with the expectation of an approximate three (3) to five (5) year change of assignment. The incumbent will be required to relocate based on management needs for the duration of employment in this or successive assignments world-wide. Geographic moves will not exceed more than once every three (3) years. The incumbent's preference, career objectives, and compelling personal needs may be considered, but are not binding on management. Future assignments will be to a position at the same pay band/grade.

This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Are you willing and able to work an assigned shift to meet work requirements?

Do you have experience that shows progressively responsible administrative, technical, professional, or other work which has provided a knowledge of executive management principles and practices?
2.
Do you have progressively responsible experience as an Assistant Lodging Manager in a military or commercial hotel to include daily hotel operations encompassing economic soundness of program operations, accounting and supply procedures, facility management and renovation, and staff management and supervision?
3.
A Certified Hospitality Administrator (through American Hotel & Lodging Association) or Certified Rooms Division Executive certification is desired. Do you have the certifications?
