This section will be used to determine if you possess the education and/or experience to qualify for a Victim Advocate (Family Advocacy Program) position. 5. Incumbent must meet the qualification requirements for FAP Victim Advocates described in 32 CFR Part 61, Subpart B "FAP Standards"; must have or obtain within six (6) months of hire and maintain the Basic Advocate Credential and Comprehensive Intervention Specialist designation per the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP)/National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA) policy guidelines; must complete initial and ongoing certification training requirements; must obtain and maintain eligibility for a Secret Security Clearance; must obtain and maintain a current state driver's license; may serve in an "on call"  duty status outside of normal work hours; may be required to travel up to 10% of the time to complete work assignments, conduct or attend meetings, training events, conduct FFSP certification site assist visits, attend court hearings or deliver services aboard ships; may be required to work flexible hours including weekend hours to accommodate client's needs to have after hour care; and may be required to be on-call and  provide 24-hour, 7 days a week domestic or child abuse response, including taking phone calls after working hours to respond to reports of violence, make notifications to authorities such as Child Protective Services  as required, assist in crisis situations, and provide safety planning and referrals.  Are you able to meet these conditions?
