Thank you for your interest in the Department of the Navy Nonappropriated Funds Employment. 1. Do you have a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting AND two years of specialized experience in accounting?

OR

A combination of education and experience; a minimum of four years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge. Education must include one of the following:

1) Twenty-four semester hours in accounting or auditing courses of appropriate type and quality. 
2) A certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination.

2. Do you have at least three years of work experience with SAP AIMS or Oracle Accounting systems? (limit characters)
3. How many years of work experience do you have that required the knowledge of accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices to prepare, analyze and interpret accounting data? (limit characters)
4. How many years of work experience do you have preparing general journal entries? (limit characters)
5. How many years of work experience do you have reviewing financial transactions for accuracy, and identifying and correcting discrepancies? (limit characters)
6. How many years of work experience do you have developing, reviewing, and revising accounting standard operating procedures and/or accounting policies? (limit characters)
7. How many years of experience do you have using Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)? (limit characters)
