I am an MR or NG Reserve Technician who will lose or has lost my military membership through no fault of my own after completing at least 15 years of technician service and a minimum of 20 years of service creditable for non-regular retirement. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position has been designated "Mission Essential". The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as the Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition. (False or fraudulent information provided by candidates is criminally punishable by fine or imprisonment per 18 U.S.C. Section 1001). This is a Term position scheduled to last 13 months. A term position may be extended to a maximum of six years depending upon the needs of management. Are you available for term employment?

Incumbent is required to have successfully graduated from the United States Army Civilian Police Academy; or successfully graduate within 12 months of hire date; or is a current employee and is considered grandfathered IAW AR 190-56, unless incumbent has a current approved waiver from the Office of the Provost Marshal General (OPMG).
