I have at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level which includes: Conducting flight testing on H60 Blackhawk L or M-Models, which have been substantially overhauled, rebuilt, repaired, or modified, (i.e. navigational, electronic, weapons, etc.); Administering periodic evaluation check rides as an Maintenance Evaluator (ME), Instructor Pilot (IP), or Instrument Examiner (IE) to rated aviators to evaluate aviators in techniques, knowledge, and understanding of required material covered in various phases of Flight activities AND Maintaining compliance with safety regulations during aircraft inspections.

2. This position has an individual occupational requirement which must be met prior to employment, and conditions for continued employment. This position requires a minimum total flight time of 1750 hours. 1150 hours must be as pilot-in-command, 75 hours must be night flying 25 hours may be waived if the candidate demonstrates the ability to perform the work. 100 of the flying hours must have been obtained within the last 12 months, (In service applicants may have 50 of the 100 hours waived). 500 hours must be in a Heavy Helicopter, (Up to 250 hours flying time acquired in heavy multi-engine airplanes may be substituted). 75 hours must be instrument, at least 10 of the required hours must have been logged in actual instrument weather. The balance may have been acquired in a flight simulator or as other types of instrument flight time, e.g., hood instrument.
