This position requires a minimum total flight time of 1750 hours. 1150 hours must be as pilot-in-command, 75 hours must be night flying (In service applicants may have 25 of this 75 waived if in service candidate demonstrates the ability to perform the work), and 100 of the flying hours must have been obtained within the last 12 months (In service applicants may have 50 of the 100 hours waived). 500 hours must be in a Heavy Helicopter, 75 hours must be instrument, at least 10 of the required hours must have been logged in actual instrument weather. 2. This position has an individual occupational requirement which must be met prior to employment, and conditions for continued employment. Your answers to the questions in this section will indicate your understanding of, or possession of, these requirements and conditions of a Flight Test Pilot at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.
