Assessment 1
Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes experience conducting analysis, interpretation, and application of rules, regulations, and/or policies related to a variety of interrelated financial processes and data in order to deliver services and solutions to a broad stakeholder base.

Examples of such experience could include:

-Experience analyzing and drawing business insights from financial data such as payments, claims, and returns.
-Experience applying relevant rules, regulations and policies governing the processes associated with the payment lifecycle for instance National Automated Clearinghouse Association (NACHA) Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) Rules, Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019, Regulation CC, Green Book.
-Experience proposing data and/or technology solutions to meet customers financial management needs.
-Experience documenting business workflows of interrelated financial processes for the purposes of documentation, standardization, education and training, and identifying improvement opportunities.
-Experience gathering functional systems requirements from a variety of partners such as Federal Agency, financial institutions, federally funded state-administered programs, and/or internal users, to enable onboarding and/or expansion of existing and/or emerging solutions.
