10.
Analyze water samples for total mercury at sub-parts per trillion levels using Cold Vapor Atomic Fluorescent Spectroscopy (CVAFS).
11.
Analyze solid samples for total mercury at sub-parts per trillion levels through thermal desorption.
12.
Perform low level mercury analyses using USEPA Method 7473.
13.
Conduct mercury speciation assays in water, sediment and tissue by various separation techniques combined with cold vapor atomic fluorescence spectroscopy.
14.
Applies stable mass spectrometry to perform quantitative chemical or isotopic analyses of solids, liquids, or gases.
15.
Utilize knowledge in speciation analysis for mercury and methylmercury using cold vapor atomic absorption spectroscopy (CVAFS) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy.
16.
Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team involved in an effort to obtain, analyze, apply, and disseminate reliable technical and scientific information concerning the environmental fate and ecological effects of inorganic contaminants.
17.
Develop and present materials for briefings, meetings, or conferences.
18.
Coordinate, manage, and perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control principles and procedures in a mercury contaminants laboratory.
