Are you a Scholarship for Service (SFS) recipient and full-time student within three years of graduating with a bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity at an awardee institution; or research-based doctoral (Ph.D.) student? 

-OR-

Are you a Scholarship for Service (SFS) recipient and community college student at an SFS Community College Cyber Pilot (C3P) at an awardee institution pursing an associate degree or specialized certification in the field of cybersecurity; AND already have a bachelor's degree?

To verify your eligibility, you must submit a copy of your transcripts and SFS Service Agreement Letter.  

Unofficial transcripts will be accepted that includes the following:
  • Your name
  • Name of the educational institution
  • Declared degree program
  • Date of degree conferral
  • Course title(s), credits completed, grade received, and date of completion
  • Grade Point Average (GPA)
To verify your eligibility for veterans' preference, you must submit a copy of the following:
  1. ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS: Submit certification from the Armed Forces that you will be discharged or released from active duty within 120 days from the date on the certification. This must indicate your dates of active service, rank/grade, expected character of service (i.e., honorable or general) and type of separation (i.e., separation or retirement); OR
  2. DD-214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (Member Copy 4 or equivalent); AND
