QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To qualify for this position, you must meet the qualification requirements outlined below:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-13: To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience that demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and accomplishment of security policy assignments that required a comprehensive knowledge of physical security concepts, policies, standards, and procedures in order to complete physical security projects. This knowledge is generally demonstrated by assignments where you review draft national security policies and standards and distribute and implement security policy standards and procedures; oversee and provide technical expertise regarding comprehensive physical security programs and systems, (includes identification media, intrusion detection and alarm systems, locks, keys, etc.); provide expert technical assistance to lower graded Specialists and to managers and employees to ensure security measures are met and to resolve security issues; prepare written reports of findings from risk assessments, compliance security reviews and site surveys, and review reports from lower graded Specialists; and provide authoritative advice and guidance on budgetary requirements for security equipment and systems.
