A. I have a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

B. I have a combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

2. Select the one statement that best describes the experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of Lead Data Scientist at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.

A. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Applying complex analytical, linear algebra, calculus, and statistical theories to include regressions and forecasting methodologies sufficient to conduct a variety of research studies to obtain, develop, synthesize, and present facts and information on program operations and systems; Analyzing data using probability statistics and trend analysis; Foreseeing the impact of changing technology on current procedures and operations and resolving issues or problems; Utilizing cloud analytics to create data models and continually assess the data architecture of the organization.
