1. This position is open to applicants Area 1 and 2 applicants. What is your current area of consideration?

AREA 1: Current permanent and indefinite technicians of the Nebraska Army or Air National Guard; and current Title 5 employees of the Nebraska Military Department who are military members of the Nebraska National Guard.
AREA 2: All Drill Status/M-Day members and temporary technicians of the Nebraska Air or Army National Guard.
AREA 3: Current military service members who are willing and eligible to become members of the Nebraska Air or Army National Guard.
AREA 4: All qualified candidates eligible and willing to become a member of the Nebraska National Air or Army National Guard prior to the effective date of hire.

1. Do you posses experience or training which demonstrates knowledge of equipment to be able to do routine jobs, simple preventative maintenance tasks, and is able to use common tools and equipment in the line of work. (limit characters)
2. Do you posses 18 months experience or training diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and modifying more complex vehicles, equipment, and more complicated systems. Experience which has provided a thorough knowledge of diagnostic equipment. Experience applying independent judgment in determining methods and techniques required to solve unusually complex maintenance and repair problems. Experienced in testing, inspecting, and evaluating the work performed on vehicles, equipment and systems. (limit characters)

3. Applies a wide variety of complex inspection techniques to examine a variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment and automotive vehicles. (limit characters)
4. Inspects complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and electrical systems, equipment and their components while in operation or in a standby condition. (limit characters)
5. Inspects equipment to determine repairs needed. (limit characters)
6. Teaching procedures, principles, and knowledge related to trade and craft practices. (limit characters)
7. Facilitates production using judgment and analysis in areas such as determining work time, preparing and implementing procedures, interpreting technical data, etc. (limit characters)
8. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc. (limit characters)
9. Use specially designed testing methods and test equipment such as computerized test sets, precision gauges, electronic sensors, injector test stands, engine scopes, etc., to assure that tolerance and safety factors have been met. (limit characters)
10. Uses test measurement and diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, dosimeters, etc. (limit characters)
11. Interpretation of technical manuals, maintenance directives and publications as they relate to repair and inspection of equipment. (limit characters)
