A. I have experience performing the most difficult and complex maintenance and repair activities as a Trails Laborer. I am skilled in the use and operation of hand tools and powered equipment such as chainsaws, brush cutters, cross-cut saws, shovels and rakes to maintain trails and roads; loading, unloading, and/or moving heavy objects using hand trucks or wheelbarrows; and operating motorized trail work vehicles such as Kubota RTV. I am able to perform the strenuous work required by this position such as carrying heavy objects up to 50 pounds and hiking mountainous terrain several miles per day. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.

B. I have experience performing the full range of maintenance and repair activities as a Trails Laborer. I am skilled in the use and operation of common hand and light power tools to maintain trails and roads; loading, unloading, and/or moving heavy objects using hand trucks or wheelbarrows; and operating motorized trail work vehicles. I am able to perform the strenuous work required by this position such as carrying heavy objects up to 50 pounds and hiking mountainous terrain several miles per day. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.

C. I have experience performing common maintenance and construction tasks. I can utilize common hand tools to perform simple maintenance tasks. In addition, I have the ability to operate motorized trail work vehicles. I am able to perform the strenuous work required by this position such as carrying heavy objects up to 50 pounds and hiking mountainous terrain several miles per day. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

D. Under close supervision I have experience performing simple repair or maintenance work.
