Resolve problems in the development of the managerial cost accounting (specifically activity-based cost accounting) and financial management of organizational problems.
3.
Develop cost related regulations, guidelines, directives, policies, and procedural manuals for program users.

Develop and monitor internal controls around cost accounting.
5.
Provide advice to staff members, managers or executives on complex or unusual activity-based cost accounting issues.
6.
Build and maintain cost models on a regular basis in specialized cost accounting software.
7.
Coordinate surveys and systems for gathering, analyzing, and validating cost data.
8.
Performs variance analyses to identify anomalous trends and patterns in cost data.
9.
Conduct cost and financial analyses, audits, and/or research as needed of both public and private sector organizations.
10.
Implement methods to use cost data to support financial management and reporting, budgeting and fee setting.
11.
Establish appropriate reporting mechanisms and channels using data analysis tools such as Tableau and/or Alteryx to support delivery of information for decision-making purposes.
12.
Resolve financial discrepancies in reporting thru analysis and validation of cost data, workloads, and other components of costing methodology.
13.
Establish appropriate controls and procedures to mitigate risk of error in cost accounting drivers and models.
14.
Conduct timely reviews to identify and correct issues with activity-based costing methodology and the associated inputs to the models.
