1. ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF A LOCKSMITH WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION (SCREEN OUT) Do you possess the experience to perform the duties of a Locksmith without more than normal supervision? This experience includes: repairing, overhauling, modifying, testing, and installing a variety of locking devices found on doors, desks, compartments, mobile equipment, safes, and other secured areas; increasing the level of key control and security by modifying key ways and key blanks to create local-unique combinations; troubleshooting to determine malfunctioning components and repairs; installing new parts as needed and fabricating repair items such as locking bolts and special screws; duplicating keys and placing/changing combinations for locking mechanisms; and providing recommendations to management on the most appropriate locks/systems for specific security requirements.
