I meet the requirements for the GS-09 grade level because I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07. Examples of specialized experience experience as a team lead in a security role; experience assisting with the development of policies and procedures related to entry, access, and physical security; experience using automated security systems; and experience conducting surveillance and site patrols.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree (degree must be DIRECTLY related to the field).

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree DIRECTLY related to the field.

Combination of Education and Experience: You may meet qualifications requirement for this position with an equivalent combination of specialized experience and appropriate graduate education. Graduate level education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
