The General Engineer Series (0840) has an Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR), which outlines the Basic Requirements which must be met for this position and include education, experience and/or licensure. In addition to meeting the Basic Requirements, to qualify for the Nuclear Engineer, EN-0840-04 position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower Pay Band or GS grade (EN/NN-03 or GS-13) in the federal service which has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
