1. Select the one statement that best describes the experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of Medical Records Technician (Coder) at the GS-06 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.

A. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Working knowledge of anatomy and physiology, major disease process, diagnoses, surgical procedures, tests, and pharmacology; 2) Inpatient coding of medical records using International Code of Diseases (ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM) for diagnosis, and ICD-10-PCS for operations and/or procedures; AND 3) Reviewing and analyzing medical records for accuracy.

B. My experience is not reflected in any of the above statement.
