More specifically, this requirement involves experience in: experience in planning, developing, and managing agency IT functions and implementing effective enterprise architecture and governance that aligns with a federal agency's strategic plan and best practices for IT and knowledge management; experience in leading IT systems business process improvement projects from design, through contracting, to support; experience in developing and using metrics to evaluate effectiveness of IT services, products, and projects; experience building and maintaining relationships with agency customers and inter-agency stakeholders; experience leading or supervising personnel in the provision of IT services to an organization; experience in overseeing the management of an organization's IT budget, including formulation, planning, and tracking of expenditures; and, experience in managing an effective IT security plan for an agency that has domestic and international users.
