In addition to the minimum qualifications described above, selectees must possess certifications for NFPA, IFSAC or Pro-Board firefighter I/II, Haz Mat Operations. Driver/Operator Pumper, National Registry EMT-B or higher level of EMS certification

Performs duties such as handling hoses and operate fire fighting vehicles, to extinguish fires that occur in both structures and vehicles.
