To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must possess all the following minimum qualifications: At least one (1) year of specialized experience, (equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service). Specialized experience has equipped me with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience must include: 1) Function as project manager on interdisciplinary teams of planning and other agency professionals to prepare a variety of planning projects and studies; 2) Experience in compliance with applicable federal laws and requirements; interpreting, applying, and enforcing program authorities, regulations, and policies with the National Parks Recreation Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, the Wilderness Act, and Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act; 3) Experience in coordinating and facilitating the resolution of complex planning and compliance issues; 4) Ability to prepare technical scopes, budgets, and schedules and function as a Contracting Officer Representative; 5. Ability to develop, organize and implement programs, establish priorities, and meet deadlines; and 6) Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and working group sessions, including the ability to coordinate and work effectively with groups of people with diverse backgrounds, perspectives and interests building collaboration and consensus.
