I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) developing cost estimates for construction or repair of facilities; 2) performing technical review of contract designs; AND, 3) maintaining records and monitoring project construction and/or contract services.

B. My experience is not reflected in any of the above statements.

2. Select the one statement that best describes the education and/or experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of an Engineering Technician at the GS-10 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.

A. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) monitoring construction activities on projects; AND 2) surveying contractor work for compliance with quality control plans.

B. My experience is not reflected in any of the above statements.

3. Select the one statement that best describes the experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of an Engineering Technician at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.

A. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) experience such as preparing plans and specifications for new construction, major/minor modifications, alterations, renovations, or repairs to existing facilities; 2) reviewing designs to include plans and specifications for technical adequacy; and 3) compliance with standards and conformance with engineering practices.
