I understand and acknowledge that selection for promotion and job locations are based on Agency needs. Although selected employees will generally remain in their current Official Duty Station (ODS), I understand that based on agency need, I may be offered a position in a different location and if I accept, my ODS will change. I also understand, that If I am currently on a Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA), and I am selected for promotion, I must complete and submit a new flexible work application for management approval. Additionally, I understand that there may be 90-day waiting period before I am able to submit a request changing my ODS to a different locality area.

You must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower band level (PE-IIB, PA-II, PT-III, or MS-I) overseeing or leading the development of quantitative and qualitative social science research design approaches and methods, and experience guiding others to use these approaches to effectively perform evaluations or other applied research. Your experience must also demonstrate substantive knowledge of GAO's programs and activities, its mission, policies, objectives, management principles and processes; and the ability to manage staff, and independently analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of technical services and staff resources. Will you meet this requirement by the effective date of promotions?
