A. I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex applying accepted trade methods using both semi-automatic and manual welding processes. I am skilled in performing fabrications, modifications and repairs on various metal and alloy parts; maintaining close tolerance and strength; Operating carbon arc and oxygen/acetylene equipment; and reading and interpreting shop orders, work orders, and blueprints. I am considered an expert and work with a high degree of independence.

B. I have the ability to perform the full range of applying accepted trade methods using both semi-automatic and manual welding processes. I am skilled in performing fabrications, modifications, and repairs on various metal and alloy parts; Operating carbon arc and oxygen/acetylene equipment and reading and interpreting shop orders, work orders, and blueprints. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.

C. I have the ability to perform common applying accepted trade methods using both semi-automatic and manual welding processes. I can perform fabrications, modifications and repairs on various metal and alloy parts; Operating carbon arc and oxygen/acetylene equipment and reading shop orders, work orders, and blueprints. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

D. I have the ability to perform simple Welder duties, or I have received training on assisting welders in performing welds with a variety of metal and alloy parts; and reading shop orders, work orders, and blueprints.
