1. Select the one statement that best describes the education that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform the work of Contract Specialist, GS-1102-13 or equivalent in the Federal Service.

A. I have a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) from an accredited educational institution and at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management. (The 24 semester hour requirement can be obtained within the bachelor's degree OR in addition to the degree.) (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

B. I do not meet the education requirements above. However, I am a current DoD employee, in any occupational series, who has served on or before September 30, 2000, as follows: (1) Served as a GS/equivalent-1102 position or contracting officer position with authority to award or administer contracts above the SAT in any Federal agency; OR (2) Served as a military member in a comparable military occupational specialty.

C. I do not meet the education requirements above. However, I am a current member of the armed forces who occupied a position within an occupational specialty similar to the GS-1102 series on or before September 30, 2000.

D. I do not possess the experience and/or education described above.

2. Select the one statement that best describes the education and/or experience that you possess that demonstrates your ability to perform Contract Specialist GS-1102-13 level or equivalent pay plan in the Federal Service.

A. I have at least one year of specialized experience that is equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service performing the following duties: 1) Performing pre-award functions (such as analyzing contractor proposals, supporting documentation, and developing special contracting language) for federal contracts in construction, and supplies/services. OR 2) Performing post-award contracting work (such as preparation of requests for price proposal letters, performance of all required audits, issuance of delivery orders, and preparation of modifications).

B. I do not possess the experience described above.
