Do you have 36 months or 1 year at the next lower grade level specialized experience which provides system administration, database administration, software application development and customer support for a wide variety of standardized information management applications used throughout the state? Experience and knowledge of information technology principles, concepts and methods. Information Technology includes systems and services used in the automated acquisition, storage, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission, security, or reception of information. Also included are computers, network components, peripheral equipment, software, firmware, services, and related resources. Experience in performing two-grade interval work for which the paramount requirement is knowledge of Information Technology (IT) principles, concepts and methods are covered by the GS-2210 series. The work of this position involves participating in the planning and coordinating installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software systems. The work over which the position has supervisory responsibilities reflect the type of planning, development and administration that are consistent with the GS-2210 series as described in the standard and referenced appeal. Experience in applying knowledge of IT principles, concepts and methods in carrying out these duties, thus he/she is performing information technologist specialist duties. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.

Duties include oversight of ATCTS and accreditation of all systems IAW with all command, Army, JS and DOD security directives, policies and procedures.

Coordinate with the organization's cybersecurity service provider to ensure issues affecting the organization's overall security are addressed appropriately.
4.
Reviews and approves: work plans to be accomplished by subordinates; priorities and schedules for completion of work; sets broad objectives; monitors subordinate employees' performance in providing IT services; reviews accomplishments; and takes appropriate action of correction when deficiencies are noted.
5.
Identifies and arranges for appropriate training and development opportunities.
6.
Coordinate with the organization's cybersecurity service provider to ensure issues affecting the organization's overall security are addressed appropriately.
7.
Ensures that a wide variety of security incidents are investigated and reported IAW with all command, Army, NGB and DOD security directives, policies and procedures to include: computer viruses and sanitation of highly classified information from organization.
8.
Develops strategies to incorporate into the organization's inventory such technologies and advancements found to be compatible with user requirements, taking into consideration any affect these technologies and techniques will have on existing architecture and infrastructure.
