This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Are you willing to undergo pre-employment and recurring investigations to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance as required?

This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health & ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position. Are you willing to submit to a pre-employment physical and willing to maintain a level of physical fitness to obtain and maintain employment as required?

The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. Are you willing to refrain from the use of illegal drugs and submit to a pre-employment drug screening and random testing thereafter to obtain and maintain employment in this position?

This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations. Are you willing and able to report to work or remain at work under adverse conditions to obtain and maintain this position?

The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. Do you currently possess or are you willing and able to obtain and maintain a valid license to comply with the requirement?

This position is subject to the provisions of the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as the Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition. (False or fraudulent information provided by candidates is criminally punishable by fine or imprisonment per 18 U.S.C. Section 1001). Are you willing and able to obtain and maintain eligibility for this position based on the provisions of the Lautenberg Amendment?

Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights. Are you willing to serve a one year probationary period?

This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Employee shifts are rotated on a regularly scheduled basis. Are you willing and able to work on a rotating shift basis to meet work requirements?
9.
This position requires certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation with Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training. Are you currently certified or willing and able to obtain and maintain CPR certification with AED training?

This position requires the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer. Are you willing to use employer-provided PPE as required?

Incumbent must successfully graduate from DA Civilian Police Academy or AR 190-56 identified equivalent within 12 months of appointment. Are you willing and able to graduate from DA Civilian Police Academy or AR 190-56 identified equivalent within 12 months of appointment.

Incumbent must be qualified and certified in the use of chemical aerosol irritants, tear gas, taser, and radar gun, State certification for radar and breathalyzer operations, and be certified to use police weapons, equipment, cameras, crime scene evidence collecting equipment, and automated police information retrieval systems. This position requires certification in first aid training. Are you currently certified or willing and able to obtain and maintain First aid training?
14.
Incumbent must participate in regularly scheduled training in the techniques of use of deadly force, counter-terrorism, first aid, firearms, actuating anti-vehicle barriers, search and seizure, security operations and enforcement of installation rules, regulations, and policies. Are you willing and able to participate in regular and scheduled training?
15.
This position requires working both inside and outside with exposure to inclement weather and is subject to verbal abuse and possible injury or death. Do you agree to work under these conditions?
