Conditions of Employment

Formulates program goals, plans, policies, and procedures and work plans dealing with the development and operation of command-wide Air and Cruise Missile Defense of the Homeland (ACMDH) functions and activities; participates in providing both technical and administrative direction to subordinate employees.

Analyzes current and future ACMDH capabilities to support NORAD's long-range goals and objectives.

Achieves teaming relationships with U.S. and Canadian civilian and military organizations ensuring bi-national and interagency strategies are well coordinated, complimentary, and executed to achieve mission success.

Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with the Joint Staff, other CCMDs, National Guard Bureau (NGB), MDA, Space Development Agency (SDA), Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Headquarters Agency (HAF), Secretary of the Agency (SAF), OSD, Congress, and multiple Defense Industries as well as Federally Funded Defense Research Centers and University Affiliated Research Centers.
