1. INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT (IOR): An IOR is a basic requirement that must be met in order to qualify for entry into this job series, and it is something that can't be waived. Do you possess at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal Service, that is directly related to the work of the position and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties as Health System Specialist. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Experience in Healthcare administration, continuous quality improvement, data analysis; healthcare principles, theories and practices; budgeting, planning, administration.
