Related experience includes: start, operate, adjust, stop, maintain, and perform various operational repairs on single or multiple fuel power boilers and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment; monitor, adjust, and control all phases of boiler plant operations; regularly observe and note readings on gauges, meters, detectors, recorders, boiler water level indicators; maintain precise control over the quality or purity of steam produced; make decisions and changes to steam plant configuration to ensure its safe, efficient and uninterrupted operation; uses manual and automatic controls to safely operate a high pressure steam boiler plant; reading and interpreting work orders, instructions, specifications diagrams, drawings, and operation manuals; using and maintaining the tools and equipment ; and perform duties with dexterity and safety.
