Military Requirements

1. Which Area of Consideration represents your current status?

A. Area 1 - I am currently a Tenure 1, 2, or 3 Technician (Title 32-NCARNG (including AGR with Restoration Rights) or Title 5 with NCARNG military membership) working at (JFHQ - HRO - HRD) (See last SF50).

B. Area 2 - I am currently a Tenure 1, 2, or 3 Technician (Title 32-NCARNG (including AGR with Restoration Rights) or Title 5 with NCARNG military membership) working at a NC ARNG unit/activity, other than (JFHQ - HRO - HRD) (See last SF50).

C. Area 3 - Within the NC Army National Guard, I serve in one of the following categories: 1) Temporary Military Technician (Tenure 0 on SF50), or 2) AGR (without Restoration rights as a military technician), or 3) a "traditional (Drill Status Guard) member only".

D. Area 4 - I am currently assigned to one of the following: Active Duty Army, Army Reserve, or a State/Territory Army National Guard other than North Carolina.

E. I am not currently assigned to one of the areas listed above.

I HAVE at least one year specialized experience at the GS-07 level or 1) equivalent which provided a basic working knowledge of National Guard missions, organizations, and personnel programs, 2) basic knowledge and experiences of personnel programs gained in a classroom or as an on-the-job trainee, 3) knowledge-based competency of human resources business elements and can discuss terminology, concepts, principles, 4) experienced in using references and resource materials and experienced in program functions such as, maintaining personnel records, counseling, or classification and assignments, 5) performing personnel functions associated with preparing and maintaining position descriptions and manual records, personnel classification or usage, quality force management, managing personnel records and researching record data, and 6) experienced in operating a computer and using varied computer programs.
