This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A pre-employment and recurring comprehensive background investigation that includes, but is not limited to, contact with all references, employers, co-workers, personal associates, and a review of your driving record, credit history, criminal history, and military service are required. Are you willing to undergo pre-employment and recurring investigations to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance as required?

The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident. Coordinate activities related to IT systems by analyzing and defining network requirements; maintaining network architecture and infrastructure; and optimizing network servers, switches, and routers.

Provide systems architecture oversight for LAN/WAN elements to ensure the network is aligned in support of Risk Management Framework.

Provide oversight and validation of cybersecurity programs.

Ensure technical and functional contractor teams comply with cybersecurity protocols.

Conduct threat or vulnerability assessments to implement effective mitigation measures.

Provide training, instruction, consultation, mentoring, and support services to network administrators.

Assist subordinate units in developing cybersecurity controls to ensure conformity with network security policies.

Prepare quarterly and annual reports on network operations and cybersecurity readiness metrics.
