Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams in order to properly perform the construction, modification, and repairs of a wide range of building features, including framework, joists, insulation, sheet rock, doors, windows and flooring.

Independently plans, layout and precisely complete from layout to final assembly or installation difficult carpentry work such as features of an entire building or major parts of buildings as in extensive remodeling projects.
15.
Interprets blueprint symbols pertaining to other trade areas in order to coordinate carpentry work with the work of other tradesmen, plumbers, electricians, etc.

Plans, layouts, and completes carpentry work according to accepted trade standards flowing work orders, blueprints, building plans, sketches, and building codes.

Manage the safe handing, use, and proper disposal of hazardous materials, such as fuels and lubricants, varnishes, and paint removers.
