This experience includes being responsible for planning and assigning work (furnishing technical instructions), determining deadlines and establishing priorities; defining performance standards and evaluating subordinates; drafting position descriptions for subordinates; interviewing and selecting new employees; providing on-the-job training; scheduling and approving leave; maintaining rules and regulations relating to safety, care of tools, supplies and equipment, and handling emergencies; operating/maintaining boilers, generator, and equipment in accordance with established safety regulations; reading and interpreting drawings and technical guides.
