1. There is a time-in-grade (TIG) requirement for promotion into this position. Have you completed 52 weeks in a position at or above the GS-13 grade level? (limit characters)

Applicants who have permanently held a position with a full performance level equivalent to GS-14 or higher in the competitive service can be referred for selection without competition under our agency merit promotion procedures.   • (1) Is clearly in the law enforcement field; and
  • (2) Is in an organization having a law enforcement mission; and
  • (3) Is either -
    • (i) Supervisory; i.e., a position whose primary duties are as a first-level supervisor of law enforcement officers in primary positions; or
    • (ii) Administrative; i.e., an executive, managerial, technical, semi-professional, or professional position for which experience in a primary law enforcement position, or equivalent experience outside the Federal government, is a prerequisite.
