Do you possess a current and valid Ohio state Pesticide Applicator certification? The Pest Controller must be certified in the following areas: Vertebrate Animal Control, General Pest Control, Termite Control, Mosquito, Housefly and other Vector control.

Do you have the ability to do the work of a Pest Controller without more than normal supervision? The work includes identifying common pests by sight, physical characteristics, habits, hiding areas and independently determining appropriate pest measures; selecting and mixing approved pesticides and chemicals; applying pesticides in accordance with labeled instructions and warnings; and storing, handling and disposing of all pesticides and containers as required by all local, state and Federal regulations.
