The Special Agent position has a stringent vision requirement as a condition of employment. To meet the requirement, applicants MUST have, at a minimum, 1) an uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular (both eyes tested together, 2) a corrected visual acuity of 20/20 binocular (both eyes tested together); and 3) a corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye. You must be able to currently meet each of these vision standards. If you receive a conditional offer of employment, you will be required to provide the results of an eye examination, to be completed by your eye doctor, to confirm your responses regarding your vision. False responses or an attempt to conceal actual visual acuity will cause your application to be ineligible for processing. There are other vision requirements that you will have to meet.
