1. Do you have eighteen (18) months of work experience in a human resources office which demonstrates knowledge of at least two of the following functional human resources competencies:

(a) Staffing (e.g., Determining correct natures of action (NOA), determining authoritative source of personnel actions, providing full service to customers in Human Resources program areas such as benefits, pay administration, performance evaluation, policy clarification and interpretation, etc.)

(b) Recruitment (e.g., filling competitive and non-competitive vacancies for an organization, qualification review of job candidates, seeking creative solutions and processes to reduce time to hire, etc.).

(c) Position Classification (e.g. collaborating with management to determine structure and needs withing an organization (i.e. position management), determining the appropriate occupational series, titling, level and grade of work required in accordance with applicable guidance and regulation(s), etc.).

(d) Management Employee Relations/Labor Relations (e.g., providing advisement and support relating to employee conduct or performance, drafting and reviewing of employee notifications and decisions adhering to collective bargaining agreement(s), legal or regulatory requirements, working with union representatives on management's behalf, negotiating labor union agreements, etc.)

(e) Training (e.g., training management officials and subordinate staff in Human Resources programs and processes such as benefits, pay administration, performance evaluation, legal and regulatory compliance, and labor and employee relations procedures.
