Hook up and operate various attachments and auxiliary equipment such as backhoes, front-end loading devices, movable dozer blades, mowers, aerators, plows, harrows, chippers, sprayers, disks, and posthole diggers, etc.
3.
Maneuver farm-type tractor and equipment in confined areas or around obstacles such as between trees, along fences and roads, ravines, holes, ditches, and structures.
4.
Manipulate farm-type tractor and attached equipment controls together to compensate for the degree of slope and stability of the ground and accomplish the work.
5.
Operate farm-type tractor with attachments to clear vegetation, grading and leveling, excavation, loading hauling and positioning materials.
6.
Work with multiple difficult farm-type tractor/equipment connections such as mechanical drive shafts and hydraulic lines for power and control systems.
7.
Adjust equipment for job requirements such as soil conditions, terrain features, plow depths and stability of equipment.
8.
Experience in judging soil conditions and plow depths and operating under varying counter levels and terrain.
9.
Replace belts, chains and cables, oil and filter changes, battery checks and safety inspections before operation.
10.
Choose the proper tractor gears and power ratios; as well as lifting, balancing, braking, and turn capacities.
11.
Use caution in operating farm-type tractors and towed or attached equipment on steep hills or rough terrain.
12.
Use caution in undercutting high banks to avoid soil slides.
13.
Independently safely operate/use and maintain a wide variety of hand tools and power tools such as impact wrenches, torque wrenches, power and hammer drills, etc.
14.
Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and adjustments to farm-type tractors and/or auxiliary equipment.
15.
Interpret instructions, specification contracts, etc., independently, to accomplish assigned work.
16.
Use initiative and judgment in following through with instructions and/or orders.
17.
Apply experience and judgment in working out details and completing work when directions are incomplete.
18.
Explain instructions and work processes to others.
19.
Use electronic email systems.
20.
Operate farm-type grounds and /or construction type tractors.
21.
Operate farm-type tractor as described above over steep and rough terrain such as steep hills, ravines, holes, and ditches, etc.
22.
Operate the farm-type tractor and a variety of equipment under a variety of conditions such as mud, snow, rain, soft ground, etc.
23.
Operate other machinery and smaller equipment such as chippers, stump removers, man-lifts, chainsaws, other power tools and hand tools.
24.
Experience and ability to manage and operate a farm-type tractor.
25.
Able to directly maneuver and independently be responsible for routine maintenance, such as making minor repairs.
26.
Independently able to move/transport a large or heavy object from one location to another.
