Apply a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues concerning efficiency and effectiveness of clinical application operations.

Experience performing lab tests and examinations according to policies and procedures.

Experience with RPMS (Indian Health Service) or VISTA (Veteran's Administration) health care systems or other similar Healthcare Information System.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance review of instruments according to manufacturer's guidelines and established policies.

Monitor temperatures of general lab equipment and environments for compliance with regulations.

Organize workload based on basic principles for working safely and securely in the laboratory to promote a safe environment.

Organizing and prioritizing sample workload for the purpose of patient testing based upon levels of urgency.

Take corrective action for identified concerns which may affect compliance with regulatory agencies by regular review of outstanding procedures report.

Ordering and releasing tests through a Laboratory Information System (LIS).

Prepare laboratory reports within specific times to meet local standard operating procedures.
