4. Survey, map and document a variety of habitat conditions through vegetation monitoring techniques. (limit characters)
5. Implement standarized monitoring protocols, recognize, and report errors to perform herbaceous vegetation and shrub identification. (limit characters)
6. Record natural resource and ecological data via electronic capture (e.g. tablets or other mobile devices) for transfer to internal databases. (limit characters)
7. Collect natural resource and ecological data (e.g. terrrestrial, lotic, and wetland/riparian) following standardized protocols. (limit characters)
8. Assist with mapping of natural and ecological resources (such as soils, vegetation, streams/rivers, wetland/riparian areas, etc.) using geographic information systems (GIS) to increase efficiency of field data colelction. (limit characters)
9. Perform technical, natural, and ecological resources monitoring for one or more resource programs (e.g. vegetation, soil, water, wildlife habitat). (limit characters)
10. Uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technologies sufficient to collect field data and to transfer data to databases for anyalysis. (limit characters)
11. Uses ability to read maps sufficient to navigate to remote field locations. (limit characters)
12. Use computers to enter and retrieve information from databases; produce simple maps; and develop simple spreadsheets. (limit characters)
13. Utilizes knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), including basic techniques and procedures for digitizing maps and assembling geospatial databases. (limit characters)
14. Participate in one-on-one interactions with co-workers and others outside of the immediate work group to exchange information to accomplish work-related duties. (limit characters)
15. Ability to communicate effectively in writing to share data in a variety of manners, such as through databases, notes, or presentations without loss of intended content. (limit characters)
